Tami Buhr is a Vice President at Opinion Dynamics. Ms. Buhr is an expert in survey research and design with over 20 years of applied experience. At Opinion Dynamics, Ms. Buhr is using her background in survey research to develop new and better methods for measuring the impact of energy saving actions and behaviors. She ensures that Opinion Dynamics is an industry leader in survey quality and design. Ms. Buhr has given presentations on survey methods at Association of Energy Professionals (AESP) and International Energy Program Evaluation Conference (IEPEC) and is a trainer in evaluation methods for the AESP Institute.
In addition to overseeing Opinion Dynamics’ survey efforts, Ms. Buhr manages a variety of evaluation projects with an emphasis on lighting programs. She has led or contributed to numerous residential and commercial lighting program evaluations including those for Ameren, ComEd, ConEd, DTE Energy, DNREC, LIPA, and NYSERDA. Ms. Buhr maintains connections with other industry leaders to stay atop the regulatory and technological changes affecting today’s lighting market. She has presented at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) and the Northeast Energy Efficient Partnerships (NEEP) meetings on the future of lighting programs and new methods to evaluate the programs in a changing environment. Ms. Buhr holds a master’s degree in government from Harvard University.
