Responsibilities include managing and quality checking evaluations of energy programs, problem solving analyses, working with and supervising members of a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, statisticians, data analysts, and programmers.

Director, Engineering

What we’re looking for:

Opinion Dynamics is seeking a Director, to lead a growing and talented team of engineers. The ideal candidate has a minimum 10 years of experience in the building energy field managing and evaluating energy efficiency programs. The right person for this job has a mix of technical and interpersonal skills, and an interest in improving the effectiveness of energy efficiency programs throughout the U.S. Additionally, we are looking for an engineer who enjoys working with staff from different disciplines and wants to support the expansion of a strong and vibrant engineering team within the company. This position is located in our headquarters in Waltham, MA, but for the right candidate, the position may be located in one of our other satellite offices.

Opinion Dynamics is seeking an engineer with experience in the building energy field to evaluate energy efficiency programs. The right person for this job has a mix of technical and interpersonal skills, and an interest in evaluating efficiency programs throughout the United States. This position is based in our Waltham, Massachusetts headquarters.

Evaluation work requires a wide variety of skills, from the technical (e.g., energy calculations, monitoring and verification, energy modeling, and statistical analysis), to communications-based skills (e.g., research, reporting, presenting findings). The types of energy efficiency programs being evaluated also vary, and include commercial, industrial, and residential programs, as well as renewable, and educational programs.

MANAGING CONSULTANT- DATA SCIENCE

Opinion Dynamics seeks a Managing Consultant to join our Data Science group. In this role, you will work with the Opinion Dynamics’ Data Science group and staff around the country to solve complex research and energy policy questions such as how to effectively measure the impact of energy efficiency or demand response programs on the electricity grid.
