Dr. Mersiha McClaren specializes in statistical analyses, including regression, cluster, and segmentation analyses, and advanced statistical techniques, such as discrete choice modeling, structural equation modeling, and hierarchical linear modeling. She also studies U.S. households’ energy efficiency choice behaviors in an effort to advance knowledge of decision-making models regarding the adoption of residential energy efficiency measures.
Mersiha conducts and manages market characterization research and program analyses. She received her Ph.D. in Urban Studies in the College of Urban Affairs at Portland State University, and holds a B.A. in biological sciences (molecular, cellular, and developmental biology) from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
