Ms. Wayland leverages available data to create powerful metrics and optimize systems to create clear visualizations showing the most important and interesting aspects of data. With over seven years of experience, Ms. Wayland applies research methods and statistical and analytical techniques from multiple disciplines, including billing analysis, survey research, time-series analysis, and forecasting. She has substantial experience creating sampling plans with power analyses for both experimental and quasi-experimental program designs. Ms. Wayland uses optimal sampling so that multiple research questions may be answered within a single program and sample sizes are minimized. She has led the sampling design for both efficiency and demand programs, as well as many other research projects requiring careful experimental design. Ms. Wayland holds a master’s degree in Statistics from University of California, Santa Barbara and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
